I already finalize my textures. This will be my final textures, but i will change if any improvement. The water and the background i will do it in Unity.

Wire Frame of my whole Environment

This is the wire frame mode of my whole environment.

Now thinking of reducing the poly count by replacing it to textures. The environment that users cant see or walk through, i will textures but for the part that users need to pick up the corals. I will using the 3D corals, not the plane with coral textures anymore.

At first my stone was about 5k poly count. I tried to model it again and put textures to it. This is what i get. I will using this as my stone in my application.

Assignment 2-Environment


This will be my starting. At first, users will will be located in a dark cave. Users have to find the entrance to go into the science center. The entrance will bring users to a water tunnel . There will be a black door in front of the water tunnel . When the users touch the door, users will be transfer to another environment.

The first picture will be my environment. 3 experiment also will be using that environment, because i combine 3 experiment together. The second picture is top view of my environment. There is a circle that surround my environment. Actually that is the boundary for my environment. Users cannot walk out from the boundary. The boundary will be in transparent. The environment after the boundary will be blur then the environment that is inside the boundary. So, users will only see blur blur things when they look at it.

Assignment 2 Process



This 3 will be my experiment in my science center.

1) For the first 1, my experiment will be whirlpool. When the users reach the environment, then users will see ht whirlpool at there. There is a speed button bottom of the screen. Users can use the speed button to speed up the whirlpool. Users can also use arrow to rotate the camera view.For more interaction, i still working on it.
2)For the second experiment, users will know more about corals. There will be an instruction and information at the bottom of the screen. Users will be using first person shooter view and walk around to collect the corals. After they collected the corals, the information of the corals will come out.
3)For the third experiment, users can learn about different size of stone will produce different tone sounds.Users can use arrow key on keyboard to walk around and use mouse to click on the stone. After they clicked the stone, sounds will come out.
